I’ve got two things to share with you this week!
Number one…
I’m so VERY excited to announce that Nayda Hernandez of W.E. Sugar Art has filmed a video with me on Cakeheads.com , showing us how she creates this gorgeous scarecrow figurine using the McGreevy Cakes face mold as a base and then manipulating the result to create her signature style figurine face!
She also shows us how to craft the rest of the scarecrow’s body, sharing with us tips on how ensure your figure is free standing and/or able to be used as a topper on a cake!
You can check out the rest of Nayda’s beautiful work on her Facebook business page, W.E. Sugar Art, HERE.
*NOTE* The McGreevy Cakes face mold WILL be available for purchase again soon! We’re expecting to have it available in the next month or so, and it will shown as restocked on the products page on the Cakeheads website as soon as it’s available!
Tools Nayda used:
- McGreevy Cakes face mold
- Innovative Sugarworks Sugar Shapers (use code SHAWNAMCGREEVY10 to get 10% off at checkout!)
- Americolor electric green
- Edible Art Paints (black)
